Good presentations by Don (collimation) and Lowell (filters) at last night's SLAS meeting. - Kurt ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! OK, This is real dumb. Now that I'm retired I very much want to regularly attend the SLAS meetings, but I can't remember to go. Could somebody please make a point of reminding me a day or two before, with info about time and location? I am sorry I missed this one. -- Joe Canopus56 <canopus56@yahoo.com> wrote: Good presentations by Don (collimation) and Lowell (filters) at last night's SLAS meeting. - Kurt ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Joe, if you still have a cell phone, you can program most of them to sound an alarm on a specific day and time. On Wed, Apr 16, 2008 at 5:07 PM, Joe Bauman <josephmbauman@yahoo.com> wrote:

Hi Joe,
I always get a SLAS group e-mail the day before the meetings, usually from Patrick. Does Patrick have your e-mail? Erik Joe, if you still have a cell phone, you can program most of them to sound
an alarm on a specific day and time.

Hi and thanks very much. I make it a point to read all of Patrick's messages but I don't recall seeing these recently. Maybe something's wrong with the email list or maybe I missed some. Getting old ain't for sissies. -- Joe
"You can program" a cell phone? ME? We get bills when my finger accidentally slips and it tries to open a connetion to the Internet or something! Give me a telephone that makes phone calls, that's it, and I'll be grateful. One with big enough numbers to see and big enough buttons to push with something besides the side of a fingernail! -- jb On Wed, 16 Apr 2008, Chuck Hards wrote:
