Someone posted a thread about it here a while ago, but to my knowledge nobody has observed it yet. On Mon, Feb 4, 2013 at 6:47 AM, D P Pierce <starsbirdsglyphs@gmail.com>wrote:

Reminds me of their EGP (Experimental Geodetic Payload). Launched several years ago, it's a 2 meter diameter sphere covered with mirrors (think large disco ball). Early on it looked like a diamond twinkling across the sky even naked eye. It's still up there but the mirrors don't appear to be reflecting as much light so now binoculars are needed to see it. patrick On 04 Feb 2013, at 06:47, D P Pierce wrote:

Heavens Above shows it passing through the zenith this evening as seen from N. Utah. A few seconds past 2054 it should be passing Jupiter. patrick On 04 Feb 2013, at 06:47, D P Pierce wrote:

Way past my bedtime (now lol). Any passes from 5 to 6 am?
Anyone see it? No joy here from Stansbury. Regarding Chuck's question, there are two passes early tomorrow around 0145 and 0321. Looks like EGP will be over N. Utah in a few minutes. Heavens Above is saying: 21:25:32 10° WSW 21:33:02 58° WNW 21:33:02 58° WNW Guess I'll give it a try. patrick On 04 Feb 2013, at 18:46, Patrick Wiggins wrote:

I peeked out at 3, but found dense fog so thick that I could just barely tell where the moon was. On Mon, Feb 4, 2013 at 9:05 PM, Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com>wrote:
