Boy I wish I could forget. As a school teacher Halloween is a day from HECK. I actually had a 7th grader in my class that was dressed up as a beauty queen. She was wearing high heels and they would not stay on. So she superglued her heels into the shoes. People just do not know the funny things kids are always doing. Its never boring. Excellent! Funny - you called it! Most of my coworkers are at a loss. "What are you - the color black?" One started talking to me about LARP and then when he saw the confused look on my face explained "live-action role playing. You're one of those guys, right?" A few guessed "some constellation" when they saw the belt of three stars. I explained the colored stars represented Betelgeuse and Rigel, and got the compliment that my costume was educational. I did win the costume contest at work, but it was either me or one of the several motorcycle gang costumes. At least yours wasn't as esoteric as Sheldon Cooper dressed as the "Doppler Effect", lol. Or maybe it was? ;-) On Oct 31, 2012 2:14 PM, "Dion Davidson" <diondavidson@yahoo.com> wrote:

Thinking about it, Dion, maybe you should have carried a club and lion-skin shield? Just sayin... ;-) On Oct 31, 2012 2:14 PM, "Dion Davidson" <diondavidson@yahoo.com> wrote:

At least your head is bigger than what passes for a head in the actual constellation. ________________________________ From: Dion Davidson <diondavidson@yahoo.com> To: "Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com" <Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Wednesday, October 31, 2012 11:55 AM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Astronomy costumes Let's see them!
