Next quiz item - As you drive down UT36 from the freeway about two football fields before the second light (Mills Junction), there is geologic formation on the east side of the road. For lack of better a name, it looks like a castle butte but is about 30-50 feet high. There is a similar formation on the west side of the road to Dugway, a few miles south of I-80 and in the middle of Skull Valley. What is the local name for the mini-"castle" on the east side of UT36? What are these formations and how did they get formed out in the middle of bays in old Lake Bonneville? Inquiring minds want to know. Canopus56 A Terraserver link to "castle" off UT36 - http://terraserver.homeadvisor.msn.com/addressimage.aspx?t=1&s=10&lon=-112.2... A Terraserver link to the "caste" off the highway to Dugway - http://terraserver.homeadvisor.msn.com/addressimage.aspx?t=1&s=11&lon=-112.6... P.S. I don't know the answer to either of these questions. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
