[Utah-astronomy] Sunspot Sketch

Hi Joe, Just an Orion white light filter. Good enough for spots. I am impressed by the H alpha filter views which show granulation and the prominances but frankly the dollars involved are way too high for me. And I also had an opportunity to look through the SLAS H alpha scope and a Colorado H alpha scope and found the former showing much more detail - so, the Colorado offerings are not top notch even at the price they charge in my view. The clubs scope is amazing - I'd like to borrow it some day. Cheers David
