Just spoke to Kevin Bushnell. He was more than willing for us to come and will provide a sign or two and 'treats'. I will be able to attend with my scope & solar filter. It would be nice to have others with filters and maybe some of the welding glass that has been talked about here recently. dave David Moulton wrote:
Was driving by after lunch today, so I stopped in.
The horizon is OK, I think. There are some trees that might block a very low sun, so I will probably stop by this evening if I have time. I could see the horizon through them, so I think it'll be fine.
I spoke to the store manager. He was OK with it, but wants me to talk to Kevin Bushnell, the store director, tomorrow. I will call him in the morning and then post.

I will, early this week. Off the top of my head, I think its a good horizon. Do we need to talk to somebody at the store as well?

Sounds like a decent idea; can you (or someone that lives close by) check out what the western horizion looks like at about 7:30pm from the parking lot? I'm working in SLC these days and may be a bit late gettting there... -Rich
