Actually there is a fair amount of solar action... but only for those with H-a scopes. I'll take prominences over sunspots any day, if one must choose. Of course, both are always preferrable. Even when there are no sunspots, in the PST and other H-a scopes there is quite a bit of surface detail present as well. The whole Enigma and Turing story is actually pretty interesting. I've read about it decades ago, filled-in the gaps as information was released over the years, and seen the PBS specials, but not being a computer geek, it tends to get set on a shelf in the deeper recesses of my memory. This is getting way off topic for UA, tell me to stop if this is more than anyone wants to see (but hey, the Sun isn't doing anything, so why not?)
