I have to think if you don't have teenagers around your house as I do you may not fully understand it all. With my two granddaughters living here and my grandson having moved out to Air Force quarters fairly recently I have come to realize a different side of the whole "social network" kind of thing. I can't say I like it 100% of the time but I do have more of an understanding. I get sick of talking to the top of a head that is reading a text, and I think their English, abbreviations and slang may be the end of the English language as we know it but then I am pretty sure my father and mother thought very much the same with regard to what we were doing. Long live The King of Rock and Roll!

I'm with you and Chuck too. I asked a woman at work why she was (in this case texting) texting a friend to meet somewhere after work instead of calling and she replied, "Well if I call her, I'll have to hear her tone of voice, and if she sounds down or something, I'll have to ask why." I asked her wasn't that the point of being friend and she looked at me as though I were well and truly an idiot and said "no." Then again, that might be from our 25 year age difference.

I'm with Chuck. I don't do FaceTool... er, I mean Facebook. And I'll leave it at that. LOL.
