OK, so McNaught may be a bit of a yawner for most non-astronomical types, but for my 2p, any come visible in daylight should be newsworthy. You might then have the opportunity also to describe recent "great" comets (with or without the debate over greatness) and our hope that a truly great comet may appear at any time.
