Seth The meteor I saw fits that description. It came across around 9:28. I might have seen the same one, if your post was made shortly after seeing it. The one I saw (from East Millcreek) was moving from north to south, and a bit west of me. Extremely bright, it traversed almost the entire visible sky, and was _fast_. Perseids are known to be fast meteors, something along the lines of 100,000 mph.
