Erik, the difference between that ballot and what we're now discussing is the idea that the bus would be rented with excess general fund money, rather than each person assessed a cost. There is a new proposal not covered by the November Nova results. ________________________________ From: "erikhansen@thebluezone.net" <erikhansen@thebluezone.net> To: Utah Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Saturday, January 21, 2012 4:15 PM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Eclipse Car Pool
From the November "Nova"
"Also on the online ballot was a space for members to state their plans for next year's annular eclipse. Results were as follows: 13 said they preferred to take the SLAS chartered bus to the eclipse centerline. 12 said they would attend the Bryce Canyon Astronomy Festival and observe the eclipse from there. 3 said they would attend the Bryce Canyon Astronomy Festival and then travel to the centerline to observe the eclipse. 18 said they would travel on their own to the eclipse. 12 said they have no plans regarding the eclipse."
