I'm convinced that the best seeing of the year for Tooele valley is in March. Several years ago in March, Erik and I were using the Grim, just tooling-around the sky and pretty impressed at the seeing and darkness, for SPOC. That same night as we were closing-up, we both saw the North American Nebula with the naked-eye. It was obvious, and as good as I have seen it even from a pristine dark-sky location. I've also seen the Zodiacal Light from near Grantsville several times, always in March (never near the Autumnal Equinox from the same site, for some reason). Again, each time it was easily seen. Pretty impressive, in fact. I just turned around, faced west, and BAM, there it was. Let's hope for the same on Wednesday night. Oh, and Chuck, you're right about the skies. All of my images tonight (currently at #119 and counting) are very crisp. A good night indeed.
