Were the windows blown out by the sonic boom of passage, or the concussion of a terminal explosion? I'm not clear on that. But I haven't read yet of any damage due to the impact itself. It's important to note (and I'm not seeing this in the news reports) that the Defense Department tracks atmospheric explosions from large meteors about this size several times a year. They are almost always over oceans, however, since most of our planet is covered with water- and thus unwitnessed and unreported. This event isn't really rare at all.
