I don't have those kinds of allergies, but I know that in the desert, the smell of sage can be pretty intense. I've lain in my sleeping bag and enjoyed the smell of sage and pinyon. -- Joe
Hello everyone, Fran, my considerably better half, is interested in camping with me sometime at Bryce or Capitol Reef. However, she's got lots of allergies--grass, sage, many pollens, etc--and she's really afraid that the vegetation around the campsites might set her off. For a number of reasons, she tries to stay away from allergy medications when she can.
Because I don't share these allergies, I have no idea whether these campsites might be problematic or not. If there's anyone who can speak from personal experience, I'd appreciate your letting me know about it, either on-list or off.
Thanks much, Michael
