The warm observing season is about gone. That means it is time to get ready for next year. What better way to start the next year than with a new telescope? I will be holding another mirror grinding class this winter. This year I would like to start by building the telescope while we wait for the glass to arrive, and then grind the mirror to go inside. I am looking for hearty souls willing to brave this experience. Your cost for this class will be your materials plus a little more to pay for the utilities. Utilities will be determined after we see how many will be in the class. Class will once again be held in my hangar in Woods Cross. We will be building either 10" or 12-1/2" scopes. You can get an idea of mirror kit costs by visiting: www.newportglass.com orby calling Willmann Bell at (804)320-7016. Their web site is www.willbell.com, but their mirror kits are not listed. Due to a loose nut on my computer, I have lost the names of those who have expressed an interest. Please respond to this inquiry if you are interested. I anticipate the class going for about four to five months, and you wil need to make a committment to attending and keeping up. Brent __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
