Thanks Steve. With all the divorce-related activity in my life lately, I have very little time for on-line stuff. Haven't been on CN in weeks. What concerns me is that a month ago, he told me on the phone that my order was essentially complete and it would ship the next Friday. I hate it when a seller tells me BS just to get me off the phone. I would much rather be told the truth, and if he's just snowed-under with orders, I will certainly understand a delay. At the time I ordered, the backlog was listed as 3 weeks. It's now listed as 12 weeks, yet my order is 14 weeks old. I have the same component in the Novak version, but I really want the easy adjustment of the Protostar secondary holder. We'll see how this plays out. There have been some recent discussions around CN other people have noted they were not able to get hold of Bryan but as of late 10/26 he was working and "busy". Deliveries are slow but he is still there and trying to crank those orders out.

Back in August I ordered a secondary holder and spider from Bryan Greer at Protostar. Bryan and I have spoken on the phone occassionally over the years and know each other by reputation.
The order was initially pegged at "3 week delivery", and in late September I called and he assured me that it would be shipping soon.
Since then, no-one at Protostar answers the phone or responds to email and my spider and secondary holder have not shown-up. We are now at 3 months since the order was placed.
Has anyone heard of problems at Protostar or perhaps personal problems on the part of Greer?
