The Aug 8th deadline will be hard to make. Does Bob have video equipment included in his photographic bag?
This message is mainly for SLAS members, as we are recipients of ZAP
funds. I think that we ought to make a short video of a Sun Party or a party at TITP or Harmons (since it has to be in SL County) and send it in. See message below. This would be a great PR moment as we could be part of a larger video of local activities shown at events around the valley, as well as being posted to a web site. Would it be possible to video what we are seeing through the scopes, as well as the people who come to participate? Can anyone help me with this?

There are many opportunities for ZAP to provide video with narration to promote events, venues and activities which are supported by the Zoo, Arts & Parks funding. The video will be used online in streaming format and in video for broadcast, presentations and exhibits. If you have video you would like to share which can be edited and included in the composite production that ZAP is producing, please send it to me by August 8 on a DVD. The video you provide should be recent, shot within the last 16 months. We are limited to video shot in these formats: Beta, Mini DV, DVC Pro and DV Cam (no VHS). (We will assume that any video you provide has releases from individual in the video and that it can be used without restriction. If you do not have releases, please do not provide it.) Thank you in advance for helping us show the excitement and vitality of arts, culture and fun in the county.
