Hi Steve, There are a few of us on the list that do astroimaging. Tyler Allred is one person on the list that really seems to know what he is doing (if you have not already seen his work have a look at http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=122 ). Happily he will be the featured guest speaker at this month's SLAS meeting on the 17th. That's a meeting anyone wanting to dabble in astroimaging will want to attend. patrick On 06 Feb 2009, at 19:31, Stephen Peterson wrote:
Not sure which address to submit query to, so both. Trying to get serious about astrophotography. Looking for some guidance by more experienced than me (shouldn't be hard). Will be using Canon EOS D40 or D20 with 8-10 inch scopes (f4-ish) and Losmandy Gemini 11 with autotracking (DSI and Shoestring/PhD). Have ordered HAIP4Win software. Would love to watch/learn from someone who knows what they are doing!
