Don't underestimate Buttars and the power of the Dodo Forum - I mean Eagle Forum. Y'all may be interested (or not) to know that Mr. Buttars did not have the courtesy to reply to the letter that I sent to him when this issue first drew so much attention following President Bush's casual endorsement of ID. (BTW, I notice that Mr. Buttars seems to take much encouragement from Bush's comments.) I'm not going to let this die. I'm a Utahn, of the dominant religious persuasion, I think of myself as an active, believing Christian, I make no apologies for it, but I'm not going to stand by while fools like Buttars impose this stupid idea on the teaching of science in public schools. If those of you who expressed an interest in joining me earlier wish to continue to be a part of my efforts, let me know offline. I'll be writing Buttars again soon, as well as my local representative. I hope y'all will do the same. Kim
