[Utah-astronomy] Mon nite

I accompanied Dan to Camp Rodgers (above Kamas) where we conducted a star party for some 60+ kids and a dozen + staff members. Was pretty cloudy as we arrived, but the clouds thinned and we were able to do a pretty good job for them. Dan kept his 'scope on the Ring, and I was on Saturn for the most part. Did get a nice wide field view of M-29 plus Alberio. Was dark enough to see the Milky Way, but it was pretty faint to an untrained eye. Packed up at 2130 and dodged deer all the way into Kamas. Saw a nice 2-point on the way up, horns still heavy with velvet. All in all, a very good night. 73
