Hi Chuck I use Fuji Astia sheet film (color transparency) and after processing, it is scanned at 4800dpi and then put into Photoshop where it is color corrected, sharpened 1 level, and some compression of contrast. If a print is made then scanned, it's a 2nd generation scan and is as good as the enlarging lens in the enlarger. I scan at film grain level, beyond that is empty magnification, no gain, it then falls back to the taking lens and sharpness of focus and accuracy of guiding. Anyone have a Hasselblad Fisheye I can borrow?? aloha Rob
