Well I defied the Clear Sky Clock and suffered - just managed to polar align before a major cloud front moved in :( No first light tonight... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Naz & David" <naz_david@msn.com> To: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Saturday, January 31, 2004 11:55 PM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] What are those white twinkling things?
I know if I take my new scope out for first light its gonna cloud over so I'll stick to the indoors task of getting my DSC's working! Wonder why the Clear Sky Clock missed this clearing? Experience tells me when it missed them they are usually short lived.....
New scopes an Intes Micro M715DX MCT by the way. Anyone got one of these locally? I might need some help collimating the thing - eyeballing the exit pupil shows some assymmetry of the obstruction.
Cheers
David

I just happened to look outside and found the sky filled with tiny, white twinkling things.
I think I remember seeing things like that a long time ago but it's been a while... :-)
Hmmm, guess I'll open the observatory and get a better look.
