[Utah-astronomy] near miss asteroid: see Bowling Ball Drop

Saw this story early this morning. Could have had a giant bowling ball experiment, without planning. http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/asteroid_close_041222.html Summary: 16-foot asteroid passes withing the 36,000 km geo-stationary satellite altitude. Wasn't seen approaching because of the sun blind spot. Cheers, James.
