You must be right, Steve. I remember stories about the Comet when I was very young, and I guess I mixed that up with the Constellation (both astronomical!) Then because I thought there was a problem with the Constellation, and I knew very well it had that strange three-upright tail, I decided the problem must have been with the tail. I've always loved the DC3, because it's so sturdy and has been a real workhorse for many decades. The military version could fly will all kinds of aitiaircraft damage. But I agree that biplanes are the coolest, and the Constellation is great-looking. (Somehow, I have an impression that the Constellation had a fatal flaw with that tail -- or am I thinking about another plane? Can anybody figure out what my poor old brain is trying to drag out of the murk of the past?) -- Joe
