I am one of those going to southern Utah and won't be of much help
for the
eclipse. But we do have the bigger, rarer event following shortly.
I will be town for the Venus transit. Right now my plans are to be at the Brickyard Harmons for most of the afternoon. It's not my place to suggest it but this would be a great event for the Planetarium and SLAS to work together on. I, speaking only for myself, would love to see the Planetarium join us at the Brickyard.
Perhaps a staff member can come to the Board meeting tomorrow night. 7:00 pm at the Denny's, 5th South and 250 (or so) West, and bring it up.
