Kim here's what I discovered after a bit of on line research: "Nikon makes a remote with that feature (the MC-36), but it's not compatible with the D70. In fact, I couldn't find a corded remote for the D70 at all! D70s, yes; D70, no. You're probably going to have to buy a third-party device, or make your own. Harbortronics makes a series of shutter controls that can be used on your D70... if you're willing to modify the camera. ( http://www.harbortronics.com/compatibility.htm) Other than that, you're going to have to make one." Quote attributed to a "NetJohn". On Sat, Jun 2, 2012 at 3:56 AM, Kim <kimharch@cut.net> wrote:
Hi all. I use a Nikon D70 and have decided to add an intervalometer to my arsenal for shooting astrophotos and for other projects. Problem is I can't find one for the D70, only for the D70s, which has a port for a cable that my D70 does not have. Does anyone know of a compatible intervalometer for the D70?
