Jim, if Steve made it, it's professional, not amateur.
Steve is the owner/operator of NOVA Optical, a major
supplier.

A couple of years ago, I organized tours of both
Intermountain Optics, and NOVA. Steve graciously
invited us to his home/shop, and made himself
available all morning for show & tell, and questions.
Great guy.
