Yes, you are correct. I didn't mean to imply anything by use of the word amateur. Any undertaking of that "scope" (no pun intended) is to be admired!!!

A couple of years ago, I organized tours of both
Intermountain Optics, and NOVA. Steve graciously
invited us to his home/shop, and made himself
available all morning for show & tell, and questions.
