Yes, I still have the 10" LX-200 (the original - not GPS, ACF, etc.). But, I need to sell it. I've hardly used it or the Milburn Wedge since I got a 14" Edge HD. If anyone is interested - I'll give you a sweet price. It's an older scope but everything still works. And yes, the Explore Scientific's work well there too - but admittedly I've never owned any of the real "primo" eyepieces. To bring it back to the original topic, I noticed that I failed to provide a link which Jamie requested: http://explorescientificusa.com/collections/eyepiece Clear skies, Dale. Dale also uses an LX 200. Unless he got rid of it.

In my (limited) experience, different eyepieces are preferred in different scopes. With Roger having the same scope, his suggestions thus have extra merit. One thing I've found useful is to bring your scope to a big star party, and find someone willing to lend you a few differing eyepieces, and try them out in your scope before you sink a lot of $$ into something -- many of the premium brands (TeleVue) are great optics but come with a hefty price tag. Better to buy something you know works well for you than suffer buyer's remorse. Also look at the classifieds -- you can often find deals out there on used stuff. I had the chance to set up next to Lowell Lyons one night, and try out his Pentax lineup. He loves and swears by them, and they are nice, but I found comparing them side-by-side, the similar TeleVue Panoptics worked better in my scope than the "equivalent" Pentax; for Lowell, the opposite was true for his scope (and his eyes). You may also find that some much cheaper brands and models works well enough that the extra $$ for premium brands just isn't worth it. My $.02/R

Jamie, Great choice of telescope. I have had mine for 10-years and have no complaints. The one I use the most is the 26mm super-wide angle eyepiece. I also have the 30 & 40mm super wide angle eyepieces and I use them very much particularly the 40mm. I think that this telescope comes with a 25mm 5-element plossel eyepiece.

What Eyepieces should I get?
Size, shape, color, flavor :-)
Any recommendations with info and links to the product, Please.
