Sounds good to me, Patrick. Maybe it would make a nice addition to News to have a link to a page with links all these personal sites, and blog sites. -- Joe ________________________________ From: Jay Eads <jayleads@gmail.com> To: Utah Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2011 8:44 AM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Websites on roster Patrick, I think it is actually a great idea if it is easy to do. It would allow members to see what each other is doing and to be aware of what is going on locally. On Thu, Aug 11, 2011 at 1:51 AM, Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com>wrote:
Just doing a bit of musing here. While this is not an official SLAS list there are a number of SLASers here so I'd like to toss out an idea.
With so many folks having personal websites these days I'm wondering if any (many?) might like to be able to have their URL listed as part of their data on the SLAS roster.
I'd still need to check with the SLAS webmaster to see if adding a field for URLs would be hard to do.
But in the event it's not hard, how do folks here feel about the idea? Would you like to have your URL listed?
???
