I didn't see his television show. It happened during one the decades where I chose not to own a TV. But I did read some of his books. I happen to now be reading "A Demon-Haunted World, Science as a Candle in the Dark". It's 20 years old but the battle against ignorance and quackery is still very much alive today. He takes no prisoners and lets me know that my own views are not the least bit extreme. He directly addresses UFO's, anti-science, the commercial self interests that today are characterized as flat-earth, and religious bigotry that oppresses the rights of women. It's a must read or reread in the climate of today's discussions. Critical thinking at it's best. DT
