I did Chuck. I find it very fascination ever since Dave Bennett showed me a 22 - 24 hour old young crescent last summer at Wolf Creek.
I went out tonight in my back yard and tried to find M77. I couldn't even find Cetus through the serous clouds. I am really of to a good start here. I tried to follow from Aldebaran down the line to Cetus with the 15X70s. It sure looks different than on my sky charts. I need a lot more practice. I have the Orion set up right now, but I am trying to get an idea where to look with the binos first. I guess I better go try again as the clouds move around.

Thanks for the forecast, Jim. BTW, did you catch the
recent articles in S&T on observing young crescent
moons?
