Chuck, and others with gmail accounts. Creating a filter for <list:"utah-astronomy.mailman.xmission.com"> has kept everything out of the spam or junk folder. The following instructions are more detailed, for those of you that have not created filters before. Log into your gmail account online. Look for the little round grey gear on the upper right hand area next to the < and > buttons. Click on the gear. A menu will drop down. Go down that menu to "settings" and click on it. On the page that opens, you will have a bunch of tab options. It opens to "General". You want to look to the fifth tab from the left, called "Filters". Click on that tab. A list of existing filters will appear. There may be none or a lot. Scroll to the bottom o any existing filters to the small, highlighted words "Create a New Filter". A new box will appear with lots of option boxes that can be filled out. You only have to fill out one of the boxes. Look for the box labeled "Has the words". In that box type exactly what is on the following line. list:"utah-astronomy.mailman.xmission.com" Then go down to the bottom of the box and click on "Create filter with this search". A new box appears with a list of options. Click on "Never send it to spam". At the lower left is a blue box that says "Create Filter" Click on this box. Your filter has been created. Go to the column on the left, click on "Inbox", and you are back to your normal screen. Your Utah Astronomy emails will not end up in spam anymore. A few days ago, I went into my spam folder and checked all the yahoo addresses from list members "not spam", which moved the messages back to the IN box.
But today, new messages from those same list members are again being delivered to the spam folder.
What a pain.
