Hi Spencer et al, The "generic" time for Utah that I've been giving out for 1st contact is "around 6:30". Many here will know 1st contact in Utah will be a bit before that but since most folks will be using those "1x" eclipse glasses I'm guessing they wont actually see anything until a few minutes past 1st contact. But for those who like exacts I've come up with a PDF containing precise times for various places around Utah based on data taken from this NASA map, http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEgoogle/SEgoogle2001/SE2012May20Agoogle.html and converted to MDT: http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/annulartimes.pdf Clear skies! patrick On 17 May 2012, at 18:42, Spencer Ball wrote:
Isn't it at 7:30 rather than at 6:30?
