I brought my solar scope to work with me today, but it's pretty overcast from my location. I observed the sun late yesterday afternoon thanks to Deloy's post- the sun is currently peppered with spots. I counted seven, possibly eight groups with some groups consisting of many individual spots. Much plage was easily seen in white light near the limb, where the two largest groups are coming into view. Wondering if Winchester Park is benefitting from any sucker holes? Some new spots have come around the edge. Lots to see at the sun party tomorrow.
