Yeah, I noticed those same two gaffs.
When it was repeated on the 10 o'clock KSL Channel 5 news, Bruce Lindsey got the name of the launch vehicle correct, then they rebroadcast the NBC video with all the errors still intact.

Sometimes I wonder if some media folks do any fact checking.
Last evening I watched an NBC news report on MSL's launch.
It started off saying MSL launched on a "Saturn 5".
And then went on to talk about how the rover will be operating under a "hot martian Sun".
Joe, as a real journalist you need to set them straight.
