Never saw the Chicken Place but I am not from Salt Lake, born in Portland Oregon and then from age 6 on was mainly in the SF Bay Area except for a few years in Illinois and then at age 14 we spent almost 20 months in Paris. Someday I need to tell about the time my Dad took me on business to Moscow so I could see Red Square and what the stewardesses (if you could call them that) had to do to get the front landing gear down. BTW, I have been told by older relatives that they had a staff of mostly African-American servers. Think of the oppression they had to live with.
