I left at 11:30 and the seeing was still acceptable. In fact it was pretty good for approaching mid-day. After using a Teletrack Goto mount for this scope for over a year, I switched to a light-duty equatorial with synchronous drive, powered by a small inverter. Setup is now much simpler. Precise polar alignment isn't needed at the low powers used with the PST. The sun stays in the field of view for hours.
