Chuck,
What kind of scanner would you recommend?
Debbie, I can't make any recommendations. I haven't found one yet I'm 100% happy with, but I still have very limited experience with them. Rob or Jim could probably give you meaningful advice here. Our art department staff says to get the largest flatbed you can afford, they seem to like HP, which I despise from experience. Remember that in going from an emulsion to a digital format, some data will always be lost. I'm beginning to think that in order to avoid this, one should probably shoot digitally right from the start, or stick with emulsion-based imaging all the way through, in the absence of the "perfect" scanner. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
