Dear fellow astronomy and space fans, I received the following note on shuttle videos and said I would post it to the list. I believe the Nancy in the salutation is Nancy Perkins, our southern Utah correspondent, who covered the search for shuttle debris in that area. Best wishes, Joe Bauman Hello Joe and Nancy, I am an amatuer astronomer in Sparks, Nevada (next to Reno)and I videotaped a portion of the STS-107 Shuttle Columbia return on Feb 1st. I recently found out that three people near St. George and one near Ivins had also taped the reentry. I am in contact with 4 other video tapers in California and one more in Nevada as well as the astronomers at the Owens Valley Caltech observatory and other scientists. I am also trying to contact Scott Valentine from Phoenix who taped outside Flagstaff. We have been exchanging information and keeping in touch by email and regular mail. All of us have provided our information to NASA and it is all included in the Rev 15 master time line. I would like to get a hold of Dean Cox from Washington county emergency services and cannot seem to locate how to contact him. You reported on him in your stories on 2/22 and 2/23. Would you be able to help me get in touch with him? I would understand if he does not want to be contacted, but so far, all the others I have been in touch with were very happy . We all shared in something both wonderful and beautiful, yet tragic at the same time.
