Hey Chuck, I hear you! I had a real dearth of email there from all lists for a while, then a huge flood all of a sudden the last few days. Strange. Probably something happening at Yahoo, trying to get their act together (hopefully). A lot of stuff does end up in the bulk mail folder, so I often find myself doing a quick scan through the many "Make her happy" and "Hot stock tip" and random words thrown together daily spam to make sure legitimate list posts don't get added to the spam filter when I purge it. Nice to know y'all are still out there! Rich --- Chuck Hards <chuckhards@yahoo.com> wrote:
Thanks for your patience, folks. Test #6 made it back to me and into the correct folder.
I'd appreciate it if one or two of you could post a test message, to see if they are directed into the proper folder as well.
What worked was using:
utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com
in the "to" field, with no quotes and non-case specific. If you add quotes, Yahoo adds it's own quotes, so you end up with 2 sets and it won't work.
I still seem to experience the occassional post flying off into the tenth dimension, never to be heard from again. Not sure that I can do anything about that.
I also discovered the "color" control and get to experience Yahoo email in a whole new technicolor world.
