Beautiful view this morning, as the moon closes on Venus. They will be about 5-degrees apart tomorrow morning, the moon having passed Venus during the night before they rise from our vantage point. The moon actually covers Venus for some lucky observers in Africa. http://www.skyandtelescope.com/observing/home/Moon-and-Venus-Dance-at-Dawn-2... Venus was a fat crescent this morning in the 10x25 bino that I keep at my office.
