To celebrate the successful landing last night, I've been listening to Jeff Wayne's classic rock opera "The War of the Worlds" today at work. Narrated by Richard Burton, if you haven't heard it, you've missed out. I have it on vinyl and a few years ago got the CD set when it was re-released. It follows Wells originally story. IIRC, I bought the LP at the Cosmic Aeroplane. There's a blast from the past.
