Richard, I am somewhat familiar with Oberwerk. I have had the 20x80s
of theirs for a few weeks now and they are quite impressive, even more so considering the price. You will find my review of them under customer comments on their web site. I have also done a side by side comparison with the 15x70 Bears and Oberwerks 15x70. The Oberwerks are easily the superior product. Much brighter and wider field of view.
