Jim, I didn't have any trouble finding M81-M82 Sat night. This is probably because my skies were a little darker and I was using my setting circles on my mount. It surprised me how good the pair looked despite the moon. The globular clusters looked good also. Do you live near the mountain in PG? When I used to set up at Rich's house I could always find M81-M82 and M51. I'd estimate the skies there in Lindon are about 4.0 mag. Of course it helps to use a low-power eyepiece to locate these galaxies. I was using 40X Sat night which gave me a 1.7 degree field. Debbie
