While still on the subject of smaller APO's, does anyone out there own either a TeleVue 85 or Takahashi Sky 90? If so, what are your impressions? DLB On Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at 12:10 AM, David L Bennett wrote:
Debbie,
Which Televue refractor do you have? The 101 or 102? What were your considerations when you originally purchased it and have you been overall pleased? I think I saw a favorable comment on TV's website from a D.W. of Utah...I bet that's you!? I've only looked through your TV once up at Wolf Creek last year but was duly impressed with the pinpoint stars, their color (and lack thereof), flat field, and contrast. What EP's do you usually use with it?
I'm keeping my eyes open for a sweet deal on Astromart or eBay for either a 102 (if that's what you have) or possibly a TV 85. I'd appreciate hearing your comments (and anyone else who has even a cents worth to add) before making any sort of final decision.
Thanks & clear skies,
Dave Bennett
P.S. You're waiting on an AP refractor aren't you? Which one?
