Well, the forecast for Bryce Canyon through the weekend is for clear skies, temps in the high 50's to low 60's during the day and high 30's at night. So, Chrismo, if "down that way" means a little further south than you had in mind, Bryce looks like a good shot. I plan to spend Friday evening hours with some of my springtime friends in the night sky - from 8,000 feet with (hopefully) crystal clear air, perfect seeing, and unmatched darkness. And 15 minutes from my home. :-) May the observing gods smile upon us all this weekend.
