I knew that the lunar eclipse wasn't visible from here, so imagine my surprise when, on my way to work this morning, I saw a blood-red, full moon hanging low in the southwestern sky. Turns out a wildfire near Tooele was the culprit. But I got to see a red moon anyway, just coincidence that it was within 24 hours of a real eclipse!
