Oh I feel awful about retiring -- HEE HEE HEE HEE! The paper gives retirement presents based on $25 for every full year of employment there. In my case it amounted to $900. I spent it and a little more of my own money ordering astronomical gear from Oceanside Photo and Telescope, my favorite outlet. So now I have both my original Meade Superwedge and my new Meade Ultrawedge, which is much improved. I don't know what to do with the Superwedge, which works as well as it ever did. In fact, I think it works better because I reinforced a connection so it won't slip like it did before. Any suggestions? Thanks, Joe PS: My Deseret News email is still working, but to be sure that messages get through to me in the future, people can contact me at josephmbauman@yahoo.com. Hope to see you soon at a star party. jb On Thu, 17 Apr 2008, Patrick Wiggins wrote:
Boy, ace science writer Joe hasn't even been retired a week and already international science related journalism is falling apart. Never would have happened if Joe was still on the job.
So, Joe, do you feel guilty enough to go back to work?
