When headed south in Skull Valley there are a bunch of roads running off to the west, and most all of it is BLM land (or should I say OUR land! Anyway- we hunt meteorites out there a lot and it's dark and open if you go all the way to the west side of the valley and most of the roads are in pretty good condition. Most any car could make it out there and I've never been close to having to use my 4x4 capabilities (though it's still fun to have :) ) -Barrett www.FallenStarHunters.com -----Original Message----- From: utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Jay Eads Sent: Monday, August 13, 2012 6:37 PM To: Utah Astronomy Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Lakeside Road Joe et al., There are a couple of nice spots down 196 which is Skull Valley Road if you pull into the mountains that are on BLM land. That might work as an alternative. _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Send messages to the list to Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com The Utah-Astronomy mailing list is not affiliated with any astronomy club.
