I have to differ with Mat, This star party at Great Basin was the best. My wife and I had a fantastic time at the park. I got to know some very interesting astronomers from Las Vegas. Reno and California. The weather was good all three nights, lots and lots of fun people looking at the night sky. One guy could not believe he was looking at Saturn, He was a real kick, he thought I was doing some kind of trick. Kelly Carroll is great to work with and is accommodating to what ever needs you have. They really appreciate us at Great Basin, for coming and helping out. Taking my telescope and staying all 3 nights was a joy, Kelly's crew of Night Rangers were very good to work with and NICE. Like I have said, if given a choice between Bryce and Great Basin.
